Reality Maps (2025) – NEW text for NEW gallery
The Reality Maps continue my investigation of imagined cartography, with an expanded focus on layered pathways and multiple, superimposed patterns I have abstracted from forms encountered in the natural world.
On a smaller scale, the Stratum assemblages address these concerns through torn paper forms positioned over images of the original source material. The mixed media Caldor Patterns play with the intersection of organic abstraction and the rectilinear grid.
